The Port of Seattle is helping military personnel departing active duty to transition to civilian employment. The Veterans Fellowship Program provides short-term (6-month) employment that will assist veterans in the following areas:

Sebastian Hicks (Army), Mark Stemann (Air Force) and Jacob Richardson (Navy), are the first veterans to participate in the Port’s fellowship program. Hicks was assigned to Marine Maintenance customer service, Stenmann to Sea-Tac Airport’s airfield safety program, and Richardson to updating the Port Police policy manual.
