The Airport ID Access Office is responsible for issuing identification badges and keys for restricted and public areas, ramp insurance/permits and assigning access into restricted areas. We provide this service for approximately 79,000 customers per year. Our customers are comprised of airline employees, tenants, contractors, vendors, consultants, government employees, and Port of Seattle employees.
The ID Access Office is located in the Main Terminal between the B and C Concourses on the Mezzanine level, office number MT 6002.
The process for new ID badge applications typically requires three appointments:
Appointment 1 - New Badge Application
Appointment II - Security and Driver Training (if required)
Appointment III - Badge Pickup
An appointment is optional for pickup. Let the ID/Access staff know if you require a U.S. Customs Security Seal. If you add it later, a charge will be assessed.
Category One - Proof of Citizenship
Category Two - Secondary Photo ID
Appointments are required for both new and renewal badge applications, U.S. Custom Security Seal applications and badge pickup. It's best to make appointments at least five days in advance. U.S. Custom Security Seal applications can be dropped off in advance of your appointment. Plan to drop off the application at least two days before your appointment.
